Adam M. Wolk is the Chair of the Trial Team at Liakas Law, P.C., in New York City. His journey to becoming a trial attorney is marked by diverse experiences that have shaped his empathetic and narrative-driven approach to law.
Adam’s passion for storytelling began with aspirations in film and television production, including the feature film “City Island” with Andy Garcia. He pursued this interest by working in film production in New York City and later as a fisherman and taxi driver in Montauk, NY. These varied roles provided him with a unique perspective on human experiences, which he now leverages in the courtroom.
Transitioning to law, Adam earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from New York Law School in 2013. He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office, where he managed significant cases, including a long-term narcotics wiretap investigation resulting in a 32-defendant, 300-count conspiracy indictment. During his tenure, he prosecuted over a thousand criminal cases in New York State Supreme and Criminal Court.
After his time in public service, Adam gained civil litigation experience representing defendants before joining Liakas Law to advocate for plaintiffs. As the supervising attorney of the firm’s Trial Team, he is known for his meticulous preparation and dedication, often working tirelessly to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients.
