"As a human-being first, but a lawyer second, you have this one-way journey through life and you only get to experience it once."
Brian Glass is a partner and personal injury attorney at BenGlassLaw in Fairfax, Virginia, dedicated to representing injured individuals against insurance companies. With over 15 years of experience, he thrives on the “David vs. Goliath” challenge inherent in personal injury cases.
A Fairfax native, Brian attended Robinson Secondary School and James Madison University. He earned his law degree from the College of William & Mary, where he was named a Benjamin Rush Scholar for excellence in Health Law & Policy. Licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland, Brian is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He has been recognized as one of the Top 40 Under 40 in Virginia by the National Trial Lawyers Association and has been designated as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine from 2017 to 2023.
In April 2022, Brian secured a $4.24 million verdict in Fairfax County for a client involved in a head-on collision with a drunk driver, including $1 million in punitive damages—one of the largest punitive awards in Virginia for a drunk driving case.
Beyond his legal practice, Brian is the President of Great Legal Marketing and hosts the “Time Freedom for Lawyers” podcast, where he discusses business building, vision setting, investing, and epic adventures. Outside the office, he enjoys coaching his sons’ soccer and baseball teams, traveling with his family, and long-distance running, including completing the Umstead 100-mile race in under 24 hours.
The inaugural edition of the Trial Lawyer's Journal set a new standard for law journal publications. With limited ads and one-of-a-kind content, it was created to celebrate wins both in and outside the courtroom.
