Nestor D. Galarza is a senior associate at Napoli Shkolnik's Complex Litigation Department, focusing on governmental affairs and mass tort litigation.
He has extensive experience in legal briefing for breach of contract, personal injury, medical malpractice, and other civil matters, including arbitration proceedings. Nestor is a member of the Trial Lawyers of Puerto Rico.
Nestor has also successfully managed motion practice, appeals, and other briefings in complex civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, breach of contract, fee disputes, and various civil cases. He is a member of the firm’s trial strikeforce team.
Prior to joining Napoli Shkolnik, Nestor worked at prominent firms in Puerto Rico, handling state and federal civil litigation in complex commercial cases, catastrophic losses, personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage, injunctions, and prejudgment attachment litigation in both local and federal courts. His experience includes positions at Saldaña, Carvajal & Vélez-Rivé; Cobian & Cobian, PSC; and in-house counsel roles at Metro Pavia Health System, one of the largest hospital systems in the Caribbean. He also managed significant personal injury and catastrophic loss litigations at Cobian Roig Law Offices and served in leadership and mentorship roles in the Puerto Rico Law Review bar exam preparatory programs.
