Sally Cook co- founded Hope Refuge, now Olive Crest Hope Refuge Campus in response to the growing crisis in USA of sex trafficked minors. With a national shortage in residential programs, Hope Refuge has become one of the largest, licensed treatment facilities in California. Sally has always been a champion of children in less fortunate situations beginning her career in education, rapidly becoming one of UKs Advanced Skills Teachers and also worked for the local government in North London to raise standards in schools. At the same time, her gift of communicating led her to become a local, radio personality in London, England. Her on-air work as the co-anchor of a weekly magazine show soon opened the door to opportunities in television. She joined the Revelation TV channel as a presenter (host) for the R-Mornings breakfast show, and as a producer of their children’s program, R-Kidz. Her producing gift opened the world of Hollywood for her, most recently spending four productive years at DreamWorks Animation.
She has recently published her first book bringing a message of hope for people navigating hard times in life and is a passionate public speaker bringing life wherever she goes.
Sally and her husband, Chuck, live in Santa Barbara where they continue to champion the cause of anti-trafficking working as Director of development and Community Engagement with Olive Crest, while they raise their very active 10yr old son, Josiah.
